Overview

To drive sales force productivity and commercial growth by integrating data analytics, business intelligence, and sales capability development. This role collects, analyzes, and translates sales and operational data into actionable insights, optimizes sales processes, supports sales force initiatives, and strengthens customer relationships. The role also requires strong field exposure to trade channels and customer-facing dynamics to ensure strategy and analysis are grounded in real market experience.

Responsibilities

Data Management & Sales Performance Analysis

  • Collect, clean, and organize sales, trade, and customer data ensuring data integrity and reliability.
  • Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, competitor activities, and measure/analyze Golden points (GP) progress by brand, SKU, region, salesperson, and channel to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Analyze customer share data, brand/channel scorecards, SFDA reports (Shelf, RTDC, Golden Points), KBD payment files, and conduct audits on routing and productivity.
  • Design, maintain and automate interactive dashboards and reports covering KPIs such as sales, distribution, visibility, and sales force effectiveness. Provide root cause analysis on underperformance with recommended actions.

Sales Capability & Operations Management

  • Manage rebate and loyalty programs ensuring fair and smooth application.
  • Monitor salesforce activities, including bundles creation, forecast follow-ups, and distribution targets.
  • Support onboarding and continuous training of sales staff on tools (SFA, BI dashboards) and processes.
  • Oversee deployment and tracking of POSM, freezers, chillers, reward programs, and contests across sales teams.
  • Deploy efficient coverage plans to maximize sales productivity and market penetration.

Reporting & Business Intelligence Support

  • Develop and automate standardized sales and distribution reports for business reviews and payroll incentive alignment.
  • Provide daily updates on sales, stock levels, and competitor activity to keep salesforce and management informed.
  • Collaborate with IT and commercial teams to improve data infrastructure, reporting automation, and end-user training.
  • Deliver dashboards and periodic reports (weekly, biweekly, monthly – as required), including actions steps vs set KPIs for month-end reviews.

Cross-Functional Communication

  • Collaborate closely with F&A, HR, Logistics, IT, and Administration teams internally.
  • Engage with customers and suppliers externally to support business needs and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Academic Education & Professional Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Data Science, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, MIS, Statistics, or related field.
  • Power BI or similar BI certification is a plus.

Operational & Managerial Experience

  • 1-2 years in sales, sales operations, business intelligence, or data analysis roles within FMCG, retail, or commercial environments is a plus
  • Good field experience across at least 2 trade channels, OR willingness to undergo 3 months of field immersion with HFS, Chains, and brand personnel to link strategy with execution.

Skills

  • Technical: Advanced Excel, Power BI, Salesforce/SFA, data visualization, automated reporting.
  • Sales Operations knowledge: trade terms, distributor workflows, sales force processes.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence and engage non-technical stakeholders, strong teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and customer-focused mindset, with passion for data and continuous improvement.
  • Fluency in English.
